Not the best service today - girl who served me left my dvd on her side of the desk and walked off so I had to reach over for it. Still a good store for dvds so still will give it good rating.
Was able to get what I needed everything easy to find, staff friendly and professional
Lots of great collectable goods to peruse and buy and really helpful staff.
Asked me for my email address to send a receipt, didn't say anything about signing me up for marketing emails.
Honestly had such a unique collection of items my friend got some sonic the hedgehog things and I got some cool pop vinyls that I had not seen in any other shop
Only 4 today was expecting more being 2 floors like Newcastle hmv. Got to say floor layout needs looking into too, but again loads of smiling faces and happy staff
Great Store. Seems to be more promo stuff then DVDs or albums. £14.99 for Pop Funkos
It's alright, I know vinyl is on the up again but seriously £40 - I've already got the original vinyl but was curious.
As someone who has lived in Derby 26 years it's an absolute joy that we still have an hmv to go to and physically look at what's new and what your actually buying and actually take it home there and then instead of waiting for the post and usually if they don't have in stock are more than happy to order in for you. as the likes of virgin, mvc,way ahead reccords , reveal reccords have all been and gone its a pleasure to have a look around the staff have always been fantastic extremely friendly and helpful and they have a wonderful selection of everything you could possibly want from,music, including a good selection of vinyl ,headphones, speakers, and everything for your pop culture fan comics ,books, posters, key rings funko pop's, t shirts, loot boxes,and more... perfect for gifting or just treating yourself Massive thank you to all the staff for their hard work and hopefully will be a derby store for many years to come. And to the ever professional Jenn no disrespect meant to you or your partner as they already know but you are by far one of the most Beautiful women in Derby sorry please just take it as it's meant a compliment i just had to say
Went into the store to have look around the cd selection which is located upstairs. Unfortunately my wife is in a wheelchair and cannot get up the stairs. The store as some of you may well know has a lift located in the back . This lift has been out of service for at least 2 years now and it's disgusting that it's not been fixed. No wonder some disabled people feel like 2 class citizens. Their money is as good as anyone else's. Get your finger out HMV
