This has become a must visit bakery every time we have a day trip to Knaresborough. Stunning Sourdough loaf, brilliant brownies and cracking sausage rolls. We wish we had a bakery like this closer to home.

After a walk around the town this looked like the best bakery. Tried a sausage roll and pork pie and both were very good.

Visited Knaresborough today and picked up a steak n kidney pie and a strawberry tart for teatime...what can I say but both were absolutely amazing! Will definately be going back next time I visit❤

Can't believe I'm only the second review on here...For year's been an amazing bakery. . Their buns and cakes just have that little extra. .which so makes the difference. ..

Has a lot of potential. The bakers seems to make some good stuff. However the ladies who serve people quite dozzy. When making sandwiches they struggle with getting the order right. Each staff member charges something different for the same sandwich. Sometimes the same member of staff will charge something different on consecutive days. The quality of the sandwich varies a lot between members of staff. The older more established staff seem to always be in a rush (even when you are the only one in the store) and they struggle to keep the filling in the bab. You will also have to repeat your order a few time. You will be thanked a lot, some will thank you at the beginning and end of every sentence. The thanks seem insincere and more like they have been taught to say thank you like trained seals. If you are a vegetarian you may want to keep a close eye on them as they seem to like to get handsy with meat and don’t wash their hands when making the next sandwich. Also the cleanliness needs looking into as some areas in the shop look like they need a good scrub and maybe updating. I do not recommend going there when it’s busy for a sandwich because they are all over the place and will mess up your sandwich.
