Met some friends here for tea but ended up having a walk then coming back for lunch. The food was amazing and the staff were excellent and I would fully recommend this place if you are in the area Kid-friendliness: The staff were great with the kids and offered smaller portions of the main meals Parking: Just a short walk away from the cafe
Lovely staff and gorgeous food ..it is a must visit if you're in the area.Food: 5/5
After having a light lunch I went for a walk . The rain and the wind after a while got too much . I went back in to buy a coffee and waiting for my partner . The very rude staff there told me to basically get out since I bought a take away coffe!!!Absolutely 0 compassion ,manners ,common sense and customer service. The food was OK stilton and broccoli soup , the bread was stale . Avoid ,avoid ,avoid.
Service great food good, prices too high. There are no prices on the menu so when you come to pay its a bit of a shock.Food: 4/5
One of our regular watering holes, can't fault a thing. Staff always lovely and welcoming, food, coffee and surroundings excellent Food: 5/5
Really lovely place, nice food and drink. Set in a wonderful nature park you can go see the ducks etc!Food: 5/5
Good outside seating. Staff helpful, pleasant and quick. Excellent scones, nice tea, reasonable prices. No craft shops open, sadly. Parking feels a bit steep at £2.50 but they have to maintain the walks and there seemed to be a lot of post-storm work being carried out and plenty of people with dogs using the walks.
What a fantastic place. It shows you how aristocrats lived in times gone by.There are 3 main walks around the grounds. One of them is all tarmac. The cage is clean and the staff are friendly. On the downside. On the lake walk. There is a hide for watching the birds. When we went in.The fence nearby had been vandalised. And inside the hide.It was full of litter. It would not stop me going again.Car parking was £2.50 all day.No fee for the exhibits.
