I live just round the corner and it took them nearly 2 hours to delivery with the delivery guy looking his cheesy grin at me and blaming it on the traffic! If he stayed any longer my cod would of wrapped around his face, DONT ORDER HERE GUYS 2 HOUR PLUS DELIVERYS!!!!!
This is definitely the best chippy in the area!! We've lived in Dartford for 11 years now and we have yet to find a local chippy better than this one. The chips are always cooked perfectly and are never raw or overdone. The chip portions are large too! As you can see in the photos, the cod is huge and the large cod hangs off the plate. The batter is crispy and the fish is fresh. In all the years we've been coming to this chippy, we've never been disappointed with the food or the service. I very rarely write reviews but this place highly deserves an outstanding one. Would give this chippy 6 stars if I could!

Guys, tonight was disappointing, sorry. Chips were harder and fish not as good. Prices have rocketed everywhere the last month, and I paid tonight a lot more than a month ago. Have eaten here a hundred times, so happy to support you and will give another chance. But chips need to be up to scratch please?
The best Fish & Chip shop by far! I’ve been coming here for years, the food is always fresh & not greasy at all, really good size portions too. Chloe & Mo are very friendly & smiley, & that makes a big difference when you’ve had a hard day & get your dinner with a smile, Crayford is lucky to have you!
First class fish and chips. Really impressed with the taste and quality. Always freshly cooked and such a treat every time we buy. Wrapped in lovely fish and chip boxes. Highly recommended. Haven't anything but praise. Thank you.
Fantastic fresh food always. Great friendly staff very smiley too. Best chip shop in Crayford, Kent. Shop is clean and food cooked to order so always hot. Been ordering from Hippie Chippy for approx 8 years and never had a bad experience. Thank you Chloe and Mo.
Update - Chips were excellent 2nd time round. Still definitely recommend! Changed to 5*. The batter was fantastic. The sausage quality was amazing and tasted really really good. The chips were great but not perfect as very oily. Overall would definitely recommend and I will be visiting again!
