I really want to give this place 5 stars and more as the service was excellent. However the food wasn’t as tasty as my usual place with the chicken korma being too sugary and the pakora sauce being a bit watery. It’s my first time there so will definitely be going back especially since it’s the only place in the area I’ve found that serves smaller portions. More take aways need to take note. Looking forward to trying the veg madras next time.
Received a menu through the door a few days ago so thought I would give it a try, i’m so glad I phoned. The Ginger Chicken and Garlic Nan was out of this world. My wife ordered the Special Mixed Kebab and she said it was outstanding and couldn’t wait to try a curry from here. I noticed you can order the staff curry so we are both going for that next time can’t wait! I would highly recommend Himani’s takeaway. I have not tasted anything this good for years.
Was great from start to finish, polite when phoning for my order, catered to my dietary requirements and made sure I was happy with it due to my nut allergy. I had lamb tikka with curry sauce, rice and salad and garlic naan. The lamb tikka was spicy but it was nice and tender, the curry sauce was nice and filling, also could taste the veg such as onions and tomatoes in it where other curry’s you cannot. Rice was great also. My partner had korma and peshwari naan, loved it. Was nice and sweet chicken very tender. All in all a very good takeaway. Looking forward to ordering again. Going to try more on the menu. Food also delivered fast and hot.
Himani's has a very pleasant and welcoming premises. I was slightly underwhelmed by the chicken korma, but I'd certainly be keen to try other items on the extensive menu in the future. Edit: tried the sizzler pizza - excellent, delicious and with fresh-tasting veg.
I don't know if we're just unlucky but a couple of times order has came late but today after only ordering 2 items the order was almost 2 hours late. Payed 9 quid for a curry that comes with no rice. Food is good but this kind of time keeping ain't worth it so won't be ordering from here again. Sad cause food is nice.
Namaste, After walking in to grab a menu the feeling was good in the shop. Himani's has trully beautiful curry's to try. It's nice to try something new. The service is lovely. Very nice to speak to the staff. The cheff is amazing. The vegetarian range is very nice. It's nice to try the staff curry aswell. Shine on beautiful people. I thought I'd give the pizza a try from here. I ordered the chicken tikka pizza. It had a really odd flavour to the sauce unlike any chicken tikka pizza I've had before and the cheese didn't taste nice either it didn't all taste like mozzarella as advertised. I'll have to try a curry next time to see if it's any better. I tried to eat it the pizza unfortunately a lot of it went in the bin.
Another delicious takeaway from Himani’s. I love their Chana Masala so much I find it hard to choose something else. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Last night one of them even offered to carry someone’s takeaway to the car for them.
Great food, taste sensation compared to other take outs in the area. Service is always 5 strar, any issue is resolved with the customers best interest at heart. Can't rate this place high enough in my opinion.
Best Indian meal, we ordered south indian garlic chicken, railway lamb curry with cheese nan and pillau rice. Amazing food and service the delivery was quick.
