We stayed at the Hilton Glasgow for three nights. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, plenty of room for a family to relax. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options for both adults and kids.nHowever, we had a few issues with service and comfort. Calls to the front desk, laundry service, and housekeeping went unanswered several times, and I had to go downstairs in person to get assistance. The team was helpful once I spoke with them directly, but I expected faster phone response from a Hilton-level hotel.nAnother inconvenience was the room temperature. The heating and cooling are controlled centrally, and when one of my children wasn’t feeling well, I asked if the temperature could be increased slightly. The front desk informed me that it wasn’t possible to adjust it, which was quite frustrating and uncomfortable.nThe location is great, close to Glasgow’s main attractions and very convenient for sightseeing.nFinally, when we arrived, there was no one available to help with luggage. As a full-service Hilton, I would have expected staff to assist with unloading, especially when travelling with children and multiple bags.nOverall, it was a good stay, the rooms and breakfast were fantastic, but the service responsiveness, temperature control, and arrival support could be improved to meet the standard expected from Hilton.
I recently stayed at the Hilton Glasgow and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and spacious. Everything was spotless, from the lobby to the guest rooms, reflecting the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness.nnBreakfast was a real highlight, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to suit all tastes. Whether you’re into a hearty Scottish breakfast or lighter continental fare, there’s something for everyone.nnThe location is ideal. Central enough to access major attractions, restaurants, and transport links with ease, What truly made the stay memorable was the staff: Warm and always welcoming.nnHighly recommended for anyone visiting Glasgow, whether for business or leisure. I’ll definitely be returning!
The hotel room refresh recently completed nearly got it right, but somewhat baffled by the decision not to have any storage shelves / units in the large wardrobe - so when staying for 4 nights I ended up laying my clothes out on the bench below the TV as per the picture. Never in my 20 years of travelling for work have I needed to do this.nThe rest of the room design and decor / bathroom was spot on - just let down by this oversight.nnWhat was also really disappointing given rooms were costing almost £200 a night room only was the can of still water in the fridge wasn't replaced each day - returning to the hotel after a long day wanting a drink was really frustrating - Hotel claims to be 4* but this felt more like something in a 2* hotel.nnThe location when staying without a vehicle isn't brilliant, the walking route from City Centre down Waterloo Street and Bishop lane / Bishop Street not great and st.vincent street no obvious route when you see Hilton sign ffrom Waterloo St.
Decent size room and nice windows. Clean and well maintained. Looks yo be quite recently decorated. Bathroom as nice and clean too. Nice reception area with coffee shop and bar. Overall a good place to stay during a Glasgow trip.
Excellent hotel. Extremely friendly staff. Nick and Charlotte on the front desk are amazing. Also, Carol Ann and Leo in the Executive Lounge are just the nicest people, so genuine and caring. Beds are comfortable, so quiet too. Really recommend.
