Great location, really nice rooms, especially those with a balcony overlooking the pitch. Giving 3 stars for the mixed quality of service: while some staff members are lovely and go out of their way to help you , others have a bit of an attitude. We asked for an upgrade we thought we were eligible for, but were refused because of the technical issue on system, which was fine but did not need to be handled with an aloof attitude from the shift manager. We also asked how long we could leave the car in the car park after the check out and were told the hotel rules allowed us to leave it there for the rest of the day. When it came to checking out , another member of staff seemed to be unaware of that rule , rolled his eyes and ‘allowed’ us to leave it there for a couple of hours making it clear it was a favour. We drove off immediately. I think customers are entitled to ask about service options and it is ok to say no, but it should be consistent and with less attitude.
The views are outstanding! The hotel is aesthetically pleasing. Good location for driving or public transport. Free parking but this time is limited.nnStaff are amazing. Polite. Very supportive and look after you. The lady in the restaurant's music play list made the experience all the better.nnThe rooms are clean. You sink into the pillows which helps for an amazing sleep. Comfy beds.nnGood shower. The toiletries are Crabtree and Evelyn which is great. Especially for those with sensitive skin.nThere are no baths to have a soak.nnGood desks for working.nLovely TV for winding down.nGood air con that acts as heating. I'm always cold so this was a great plus point.nnI loved the little gym. Good quality equipment/ dumbells. Just enough for you to get a good workout in.nnI went to the restaurant for one of the best steaks I have ever had. Breakfast was good too. Nice options for meat eaters and vegetarians.nnOnly downside for me is the parking. You have to leave by 12pm which is the checkout time. This is not convenient as most of the time you stay in an area way after check out. When I am working nearby. This was a problem for me. The charge is £15, which is steep. However the ground does not belong to the hotel and therefore, they cannot control this.nnI would recommend this hotel and I have already booked my next stay.
I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always been satisfied. The hotel is comfortable and clean. On December 27, I was leaving for the airport to go home and was waiting for a taxi at 4 a.m. The only thing I wanted at that moment was a good cup of coffee, which unfortunately is not usually available at that hour.nnThe friendly receptionist Gabriel kept me pleasant company and even prepared an excellent cappuccino for me—of course, free of charge. A hotel is not just about rooms and cleanliness. A hotel is only as good as its staff, and this hotel has excellent staff.nnThank you, Gabe, you made my day!
I recently stayed at this property, and it was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A special mention to Abid and Mustafa at reception, they were outstanding, professional, and always happy to assist with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made a difference. I would definitely recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
We arrived at the hotel with my family on 31st december, new years eve.nWe hsd travelled 4 hours to get here. I had booked rooms next to each other also next to the lift due medical health reasons. Whdn we arrived we waited in a very long que, to bd told that something has happened to thd card access, once your in the roon ig you leave you cant get back in with thd card, the recsption will have to let you in. Although they shouldv informed all there guests. I was told thid is the same issue with all the hiltons around the world, i got abit baffled but i believed the man. That same evening a gave a call to my friend becsuse she was staying at the hilton in park lane. She said her stay is absaloutley fine no issues with accessing rooms.nThen my water was luke warm i called for them to resolve the matter but nobody came. Then my 13 year old got stuck in the lift to top it all up.nI stay at hilton all the time but cenral london and the service has always been amazing. Any problems theyve always resolved.nI made a complaints about this to hilton honours they were really supportive an undertood. They fowarded the complaint onto the hotel. They said the hotel will get back to me in 24hours, should be abke to comoensate with a refund or something along that relevance.nThe hotel didnt get back to me i had to call again and send a few emails.nWhen they eventually did they werent sympathetic and didnt admit there mistake.nThey fobbed me off witth a few points on my account.nI wasnt very happy and satisfied with there.level of customer service, especially from a huge world wide global hotel.nI will not be staying there again
