What a fabulous hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are spacious with modern furnishings and a very comfortable bed . Nice little fridge and tea n coffee facilities. Will definitely be going back in the future
Great downstairs, lobby. Nice restaurant and bar.nGreat breakfast, one of the best.nRooms are tired. The TV for 2025 is very poor. Freeview with no TV guide. Zero streaming options.nSigns for Parking are non existent.
Good location, the staff are nice and helpful enough.nnHad to ask to change room as mine still had previous occupants dirty towels in the shower. And the rooms in general, a bit tatty/outdated and in need of a serious face-lift!nShower also a bit old school and lacking decent pressure/power. It's strange as the lobby and communal areas all look very up market and modern, but I've genuinely experienced nicer rooms in a travelodge.nnBonus star as the breakfast was great, a bit expensive for what it is but obviously all you can eat had a lot of decent options.nnCar park also really good, right underground and secure which is nice.
Avoid during December!nA well-placed hotel, run by nice people - especially Connor in the on-site restaurant and bar.nThe rooms are OK, but the beds are not up to Premier standard and the bathrooms are a little cramped. The old TVs leave a little to be desired. Avoid lower rooms around the back unless you like being woken up early by the rumbling of laundry bins.nNice but compact little car park underneath with key code lock on the shutter door.nThe on-site restaurant and bar seem OK, but here's the issue - you won't be able to get to them if there's a private function in the evening. This of course happens towards Xmas weekends. We had to go elsewhere in the evening for a drink as the bar was taken up by a disco and the guests of the private function.nNice self-service breakfast.
We have stayed in the queen family room with my wife and 7 years old kid.nnThe main trouble is the bed. It is a super small size, the smallest bed I have ever experienced in the hotels. Very uncomfortable sleeping for 2 people.nnKids extra bed was good.nnThe shower is just a curtain inside the bathroom with bad smell from the sewers. The water does not go out from the sink, they should clean the sewers definitely.nnThe location is good. You need to pre book the parking at Q-Park, cause it is always full. There is an another parking in 10 minutes walk, but also overcrowded.nnOverall, that is not the best Hilton I have ever stayed. Will choose another hotel for the next trip to Birmingham.
