I highly recommend Simon Leo as a Commercial Property Solicitor. I have held business tenancies in the past but I have not had the conveyancing process or its legal implications explained to me as comprehensively as how Simon offered me. I thought my own knowledge on the subject was more than adequate, but it just shows how one does learn something new every day. Thank you Simon for making the transaction effortless. I used this company to help me with the sale of my leasehold property (including the lease extension) and the purchase of my new property. I used Simon Leo throughout and he was excellent. Everything took longer than I had hoped - but it was never due to a delay on my side. I'm sure he was well and truly sick and tired of my calls and emails by the end, but he never showed it. He gives a solicitors a good name. I would definitely recommend using this company for conveyancing.

I have used Hill Johnson & Leo for a good number of years now. In recent years I have had the pleasure of dealing with Leigh Roberts. She is focused and delivers a sterling service every time. She kept me well informed throughout different stages of my sale/purchase process and I am more than happy to recommend Leigh should you need a local solicitor.

Simon Leo took over our complicated purchase from a big property solicitor firm who had told us categorically that our purchase was not possible. We were first time buyers and we had a complicated case where we were buying a repossession that the share of freehold and lease extension documents had not been registered (which needed to be for our mortgage to be approved). The repossession aspect also put a 28 day deadline on it. The other solicitors told us that there was a 0% chance of it going through, but they took 20 days to tell us this - they moved unbelievably slow and were very frustrating to work with as nothing ever seemed to be happening. We were then introduced by a friend to 'the only person in the UK would be able to do it' with the time we had left. Simon was a breath of fresh air. He moved so fast and explained clearly everything to us along the way - always cc'ing us in to emails he was sending out to various parties at all hours of the night so we knew how hard he had to fight and felt instantly relieved as we knew he and his team had our backs. He did too much stuff to put in a review, but he smashed it out of the park. So thankful to have found him.

We engaged with Hill Johnson & Leo Solicitors knowing they were the most focused solicitors in Surbiton dealing in property purchases. We worked with Leigh Roberts, one of the partners. She probed all the documentation of the seller and helped us avoid pitfalls. We managed to concluded in just 8 weeks and we are now happily in our new property. Highly Recommended.
