This lovely camping spot is one of our most favourites! Me and my daughter recently visited and we were immediately impressed from the moment we arrived. The campsite itself, is spacious, with very well maintained flat ground, ideal for popping up your tent. The staff were amazing. Greeted us at reception and made us feel welcome. If you needed anything during your stay you can just give them a call. Honestly, faultless! I'm visually impaired as is my daughter, and used our white canes during our stay, the ground was delightful with no nasty pot holes bumps or rocks. Very pleasurable visit for anyone in my situation. The wash room area, toilets and showers are modern on the most part, very well maintained and a joy to use! Already planning another longer trip here again later on! Thanks again, and see you soon!
Thank you, Tara, for another wonderful stay! This is our second time coming to Hill Farm. Tara is the most welcoming, kindest lady. Nothing is too much trouble. The toilets and showers are so clean - inside and out. There are plenty of facilities. Spacious pitches. Relaxed vibe. Perfect for anyone! We can't wait to go back
Excellent camp site. We stayed in the belle tent. It was fantastic. As a family of 5 we had plenty of room. The beds were comfy. Fridge was a great size. Thankful for the heater in the evening. The facilities were clean. We absolutely love the pop up pizza guy on the Friday night. As well as the ice cream van turning up. The kids had a ball. Would highly recommend. Tara was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
We stayed Friday for two nights, it was quite a trek for us but so worth it. We were welcomed by a lovely friendly lady who couldn't do enough for us. The cabins were immaculate as were the toilets and showers. A polite lad was round frequently making sure we had enough logs for the hot tub. Highly recommend this siteRooms: 5/5
We stayed here a few weeks ago in one of the deluxe pods. It's very basic but had everything we needed and we had a great time. The site is lovely! Everyone was friendly. The lady running the show was great and everywhere was clean including the toilets and showers. The reason we have knocked a star off is that we had a smell in our pod from the moment we arrived. It was in the fridge / sink area and smelled like sour milk. It was really off putting and we kept spraying cleaning products and cleaning the area over our time there, but it only came back. It was a shame as otherwise it would have been the perfect mini break.
Stayed here on the weekend just gone in Pod 6 our 6th visit. As usual, amazing place, staff were absolutely brilliant, cabins were very clean and tidy, great facilities which were spotless when we arrived. Fresh water in our hot tubs and plenty of wood to keep you going, also gave us a bag of charcoal for the BBQ. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a weekend away.
Toilets needed to be cleaned daily with toilet paper running out a few times and the floors being dirty with grass etc. Pitches were flat with access to electricity. Thought it was a family friendly campsite. Most other visitors were respectful apart from a few who were young and intoxicated. Could be doing with a play area for the children.
Had a wonderful 2 nights in a glamping pod with hot tub this week! The welcome was lovely, the pod was very clean, as we're all the amenities. Wood for the hot tub topped up daily, toilets and showers well maintained. Great location and easy to find.Rooms: 5/5
I recently stayed here with my fiancé and our dog for 2 nights, the layout was amazing, a very good location with eateries and walks nearby. Close enough to drive to the peak district, which we did. The staff are amazing and always on hand to help, we stayed in the bolus tent with a hot tub. Will definitely be back. Walkability: Amazing walks Food & drinks: Amazing pub nearby
This was our first visit to Hill Farm, we was welcomed by Tara who was very welcoming, we were given a option of where we wanted to pitch up our tent, the site was a good size with a selection of glamping pods and bell tents, some lovely Motorhome, caravans and tents, it was busy but didn’t feel crowded; the shower block was nice, clean but definitely not enough showers for the size of the site, I can imagine during its busy periods having only 2 showers may cause a issue, there was a good size kitchen area for cleaning pots. There was noise from the nearby motorway but that wasn’t enough to stop us from coming again
