Great views, distinct and interesting walk
Well worth waiting for the right low tide
We love walking over to Hilbre Island on a nice day. Great views across to North Wales the Wirral peninsula and Liverpool.
Such a lovely walk - but you have to get the tide times right!

Just a 20 min walk from West Kirby beach, if you dont mind wet feet!
Great place to go walking from West Kirby. Make sure you choose the correct footwear and plan your walk in conjunction with the tides. Take a picnic with you and binoculars there are lots of wildlife to observe. There are toilets on Hilbre. Highly recommended for most able people but certainly not prams or wheelchairs.
