We could not check in because they were short staffed and were unable to leave the bar. We waited sometime and still could not check in, they agreed to refund / not charge us. We have left a review and they are stating they will not refund us unless we remove the review, we have this in writing from Hotels.com this is unfair. They already have a ton of bad reviews, STAY WAY DO NOT BOOK HERE, the STAFF ARE RUDE AND DIFFICULT, I'm guessing they are short staffed because no one wants to work for this Greene King pub.....
Lengthy wait to book in. Dodgy key card needing assistance twice, tiny room not suitable for two guests. Good features, nice towels, clean room with pleasant decor.Good WiFi.
Good size carparknCheck in is in the hotel but no one manning it you have to buzz on an intercom they say they will be over shortly 25 mins later !!!! Was speaking to other people waiting to check in que was getting bigger one regularly guest said he had waited an hour!!nRoom was up a flight stairs along corridor.nThe room itself was an ok size as was the bathroom .nBed super comfortablenWiFi excellentnShower hot and powerfulnBreakfast not included but could add on in the morning if wanted.nLocation is on the outskirts of dunstable.
Staff unhelpful. Could not check in as staff haven’t turned in to work. Manager abrupt and unwilling to assist.
Good clean basic accommodationnBit expensive considering it’s a budget hotelnCould not find anyone to top up our tea and coffee
