I do enjoy visiting this place with the fam. Its roughly 2k walk around the lake with a Japanese waterfall, very nice scenic routes with wild life information around the lake. Big open space/field with a park with for young children.
Always something diffrent to see a new plant antics of wildlife just beautiful place on our doorstep to visit
A lovely autumn day. Lots of people enjoying the fresh air. The "Wired" coffee van was particularly appreciated. Encountered my mother walking her dog, and friend June with her son and two grand children
Lovely park with plenty of paths to walk on. Well maintained with minimal litter. Adventure golf and boating activities available. The stepping stones are cool and there's a nice view of the waterfall there too.
The cafe was open after a good walk. The coffee was lovely. A very nice gentleman working in the cafe. The toilets are open, which is handy. This is a very good, well kept park.
Great park for all ages and types. Just NO toilets open !!!
Beautiful place for a walk. And can keep your distance from other people during these days of the Virus.
Really lovely area with lake and waterfall. You can hire boats to row around, and there are a few cafes nearby that are part of the uni. Lots of open space, plants and wildlife, the squirrels were really friendly and came really close!
Nice to walk around with the family on a weekend.
