Love coming back to higher rew. Facilities great. Perfect to head into local towns. Nearby activities: 5-10 min by car to salcombe / kingsbridge Walkability: You can walk into salcombe from here
Great campsite with brilliant facilities for camping - lovely views and short walk from the beach!Location: 5/5
Host was nice. Stayed August 2022 - heatwave week. Couldn't walk anywhere because the dogs were suffering, with the heat. The beach is out of bounds for dogs that time of year anyway. The campsite is about squeezing everyone in. Paid for an electric pitch. Ended up, so far from electric supply, host bought an extension lead for us to be provided with electric. We were in a motorhome, surrounded by tents and noisy children. Unfortunately, I damaged my motorhome entering the site because I entered in from the wrong road was advised not to drive in from that direction, didn't read the email throughly however I exited onto the advised road, wasn't that much better! Got the impression, locals don't want the camping community there, very hostile on the roads and don't appreciate wider vehicles require more space. Won't be returning unless staying in a hotel with a car for transport.
What a great campsite in a wonderful location. The site is well maintained and has ample facilities. The site shop is a great addition and provides lots of essentials. The views across the hills is amazing and you have lots of places on your doorstep. Our Daughter of 9 loved the play areas and it serves as a brilliant hub for all the children to meet. Definitely one we will consider visiting again.
A wonderful site. V relaxed, with friendly, helpful staff. V clean and well run. Children v welcome and it is a lovely safe site for them with a barn with swings, slide, pool and table tennis. Nearby activities: Good local pubs. Fabulous child friendly beaches close by. Great walks from the site.
Super clean facilities and very friendly atmosphere. Rained a lot but didn’t have any problems with flooding or mud. Had a really lovely stay!Hotel highlightsQuiet
These ladies are the absolute best. They have been the epitome of hospitality. My stay here at north pointe location has been a real pleasure n I will recommend this motel to my friend. Griszella is awesome. Housekeeping is rear!!Rooms: 5/5
Spotless inside and out, grounds kept very neat and not a spot of litter or mess anywhere, even the bins were immaculately kept The staff/owner very polite and helpful We were in the bungalow field Stunning views Great spot to get away, so peaceful
Fantastic camping and caravan site, peaceful and perfectly situated for stunning views and beautiful walks. We stayed here in mid October for 4 nights and honestly did not want to leave! The facilities on the park itself were excellent, immaculately clean with good covid measures in place. The outside hot showers are brilliant! Sue the owner was so lovely and such a great help in telling us about all the local walks and places to visit. The walk down to South Sands Ferry takes about 30 minutes and is so picturesque. And be sure to stop and buy some homemade jam and marmalade from Old Walls along the way to help fund the Devon Air ambulance. It is utterly delicious! We also walked from here to Hope Cove along the coastal path which was stunning. Definitely worth a stay at this lovely site, such a great location.
Visited this week, lovely area to visit ,but was advised of a gentle slope in rhe bungalow field where we stay but was more than a gentle slope, big slope on entrance to field and field its self which let the campsite down. Campsite was OK but could have been a bit cleaner in the toilet / shower blocks . Will not be visiting again but like I say the area was nice.
