Fantastic looking stately home, set in lovely grounds and only a short walk down to the beach. Good parking and a lovely cafe with friendly staff make this a good day trip out. Pictures taken from an American civil war reenactment event held at the castle this year by the "Southern Skirmish Association". (Or Soskan for short, please come find us on Google Search. And Many thanks to the Castle management for having us there!)

Interesting building to look at and visit but still a lot t of renovation today. Cafe nice and reasonably priced with lively outside eating area. Views out to see and steps to beach. As always in Christchurch parking not cheap. Public toilets ok.

A beautiful place to visit for walks and such an historic castle. Stunning views and gardens Lovely tea room with a variety for adults and children. Sweet affordable gift shop and large car park.

Not huge and not generally a place you'd go for a whole day. BUT well worth a visit all year round for a pleasant stroll through its clifftop grounds with the Isle of Wight as the backdrop. Love house too.

A very grand old building with limited, but interesting, access inside. It does have a very nice tea room with plenty of outside seating in the grounds. There is also a small gift shop to look around too.
