Saw a show here and I had to swap seats to the front as it's smaller than leg room in ryanair. The theatre is older and has more of a social club atmosphere to it but the seats need to be updated as we have legs
It is a very friendly theatre with a wide variety of plays, musicals, art exhibitions for all ages. They are having a Centenary celebration on Sunday 1st September 2024 opening their doors to everyone to see how plays are put on and inviting people to participate in the fun.
A beautiful little theatre with lovely, friendly volunteers
It was brilliant. A very different play. All actors was top class and got it down to a perfection. One moment crying next laughing . The staff where very kind and friendly helpful too as I am disabled. Will not be a last visit
We had a very enjoyable evening watching Abigail's Party. The actors were amazing & I'd recommend everyone to see it. We felt so relaxed & chilled after enjoying this performance. Well done everyone concerned
A hidden gem of a theatre, comfy and clean and well run....some great productions especially by Script Youth Musical Theatre group !

What a gem of a local theatre! And talented. Lucky enough to watch Abigail' Party here and it was so well performed, full house as well. Recommend.
First time visit to see a Panto. Lovely small theatre. All normal facilities including bar very reasonably priced. We parked in the street as a carpark wasn't obvious, so there may be one. Performance of Jack and the Beanstalk was enthusiastically acted by amateur theatre group. Great family fun at Christmas
This is a lovely local theatre with a rich history, and we enjoyed a friendly welcome from drama group members. There is a bright and cheerful cafe on the premises - or there's a bar if you prefer alcoholic drinks in the interval. This evening's performance was 'Art' by Yasmin Reza. Interesting and well-acted - a wonderful evening out.
