High Adventure Breaking Away

I had a boot fitting there today, which I had to book in advance. The owner Dave I think, knows and cares an incredible amount about boots, and getting the right fit. I was there for over an hour, during which he was actually turning away customers from the shop so he could focus on fitting. Despite visiting all of the big outdoors chains on London's high-streets, I didn't feel that I tried on a single pair that felt right. I also had no confidence that any of the staff new the first thing about feet, fitting or boots. I now have a great set of boots that fit like a glove. The fitting session and boot modification is free. Although the prices are a bit higher than chain stores, the service makes it more than worth it. Well worth the drive from London.
