Highly recommend Hidden Gallery. You can buy with confidence, and receive expert and - more importantly - trust worthy advice, if you are buying as an investment. Very friendly staff at the Bristol gallery, and if you compare their prices with other galleries, you’ll find that their pricing is very competitive. I wouldn’t risk buying from anywhere else. 5
Wandering through the Clifton Arcade I was delighted to come across a small art gallery full of the most astonishing works by modern art giants of the 20th and 21st centuries. Whereas I find most private galleries to be dark and unapproachable, this was different in both tone and presentation. The young, friendly gallery administrator Amy Hampshire enthused my son and I with her knowledge of the wonderful, familiar prints and paintings that adorned the walls and caught our eye and we were both delighted and surprised to find that a Matisse cut out; a Chagall print or a signed lithograph by Emin for example, was both affordable and payable by instalments and that each piece of work is accompanied by a statement of its provenance. The Hidden Gallery and Amy introduced us to the joy of owning art and I cannot recommend Hidden Gallery and Amy enough for this. My bank balance however may not be as grateful…but the pleasure is immense! I thoroughly recommend Hidden Gallery for all prospective purchasers of modern art, however large or small the pieces .
An excellent selection of extremely varied pieces by artists from across the ages. There’s something for everyone here. The extensive collection can be found online and the team at the Clifton gallery friendly, helpful and professional are only too happy to arrange for specific pieces to be brought to the gallery for viewing. An excellent all round experience.
We’ve enjoyed exemplary service from Hidden Gallery as sellers of two Banksy pieces. We are enthusiastic amateur art collectors who were lucky enough to buy two prints 15 years ago that we decided to sell recently. Gallery owner Chris Kendall was endlessly patient, knowledgeable, trustworthy and full of integrity. He did exactly what he promised, got us a great price and kept us informed all the way through. Dealing with him was an absolute pleasure and we highly recommend him and the gallery. Thank you.
I would highly recommend using Hidden Gallery and only have positive things to say about them. I have now purchased two prints with them in 2020 and the quality of the print and the framingwhich they did in-house was excellent. The gallery also has a knowledgable and friendly team - Poppy is great if you want to discuss several options or prints before purchasing - and they have great work if you like art by the likes of Banksy, Grayson Perry, Hockney, Hirst and others.

I've had the pleasure of buying a beautiful piece of art work from Hidden Gallery recently. Chris, Poppy and the team offer the perfect antidote to an art world than can often seem snobby, intimidating and elitist. They are friendly, open-minded, down to earth, and offer straight forward, honest advice on what to buy, whatever your circumstances. Even if you're not in the market to buy anything, a wander around their Bristol or Brighton gallery is the perfect rainy day pick me up, the collections are wonderful!
We decided to invest in one piece of art, our very first, some 15months ago now. After speaking to the gallery at length they were extremely patient with us we felt we were in the safest possible hands, never having forayed into the art world before. Their reassurance, expertise and knowledge really put us at ease, so much so, that we have bought more pieces from them since. If you are contemplating even a tentative venture into the world of art, then I cannot recommend Hidden strongly enough.
What a lovely spot to buy art from! I bought an artwork I saw on Artsy from Hidden Gallery. I'm not an experienced buyer and going through a website like that you never know what gallery you'll stubble upon although I assume they have some quality control. I feel so lucky to have landed on Hidden Gallery. They were so wonderful to deal with. The shipping to NYC was a breeze and they framed it just like I wanted. Highly recommend them!
