Best meal out I've had in a very long time.  We had booked and were seated quickly on arrival. It was a nice touch to be given popcorn for nibbles and our drinks arrived quickly, too.  My 0% alcohol cocktail was lovely.nnThe menu was huge but we went with the recommendation of the Smokehouse Platter for 2 as it was our first time, and it had a little bit of everything.nnMy goodness, when it arrived we were amazed at the huge platter that took up the width of the table.  It truly was a feast, and all beautifully smoked/cooked, with tender meats, a huge sausage, ribs,  barbecue sauces, not to mention the fries, pickles, etc.nnI have never had cornbread before and found it very sweet but interesting.nnMy other half loved it, as he's been to the US and eaten at similar places there.  Honestly, if it's anything like Hickory's Smokehouse then I really need to go there and experience the real thing!nnJust amazing, and I will be going back with other family members as soon as I can.

Not the cheapest but well worth the treat. Free car parking, dog friendly and can honestly say what a great spot to eat, drink and relax with plenty of seating options inside or out. Our welcome was really warm from all and  set the tone for our visit. Nicely decked out and some good offers too. Will definitely return when in the area even if its just for a drink or watch the sport but tbh it'll be hard to resist the food!

For my sons birthday he loves to go to Hickory’s. We have been many times over the last few years, and while the food is good, it has now become too expensive.nA good atmosphere, but could not hear conversations at my table.nService was good, had to ask a couple of times to order food, as staff were busy.nOverall, it will be a while before we come back.

Booked for 7:15 pm for our son's birthday treat after a day at alton towers, but due to traffic we were going to be late, I gave them a call and they adjusted our booking.nAs soon as we arrived we liked the look and atmosphere of the place.nIt was busy and buzzing. The staff and food were fantastic they even bought out a surprise for his birthday.it was awesome

All servers were very friendly and attentive. My partner is celiac and the manager was very reassuring and professional with being able to cater to him. I had also just landed a new job which my partner had let them know and they went out their way to suprise me with a free dessert at the end and congratulations. Very good food & portions. Cocktails are very good too!
