Hello! We came from Liverpool and we didn’t have a reserved space, the restaurant was really busy, barely any tables left. But a very nice lady had let us get a table and eat in a period of time. Thanks to that we could enjoy a meal from this restaurant. Another really nice lady half black and half green hair took our order, she was very helpful, kind and funny. Judging by the amount of people in the restaurant we thought we would have to wait ages and we were very shocked when the food had arrived within 10 minutes- how have you guys done that? : Before receiving food we received a huge glass of water and a bag of popcorn. The portions of the food were massive and very worth their price, all the food tasty and fresh. The looked spectacular and the kids were super excited by the skill shakes. And another thing is that the toilets were parted for children and adults, the thought as I’ve never seen that before. Shockingly there was also a mini cinema for the kids so the idea of parents being able to eat or drink, even have a talk to themselves is amazing. Overall amazing atmosphere and the American style. Absolutely fantastic experience. All of the staff were so friendly and happy to recommend something different and offer help. A half rack of ribs was a little tough but that was changed without fuss. I shared a platter with my son which was divine and filled us both up. Milkshakes are gorgeous too. I've been a few times before and will definitely return. Thumbs up guys n gals
Very aesthetic smokehouse. Lovely in summer to sit outside with drinks. The drinks are very unique and tasty. Be prepared for large portions and American style meals. The meals are pricey for sure but nice for a one off. They give you complementary popcorn and water which makes a nice addition. Not the place for a light bite. Nice atmosphere. Family friendly place with a cinema and outdoor play area for the kids but you are defo paying for the experience not the food. The service was quick and waitress and waiters were lovely.
Fantastic service, tailored to you. The food is lovely, well cooked but not overdone, I recommend the sharing platter, a little bit of everything! The cocktails are exquisite and well presented and their house ale is delightful! And they do takeout cocktails! All round great food, great service, well priced Will definitely be returning
We visit this place for take away food. Very nice and friendly staff. While we was waiting for our food we order drinks as well. We wait for food while but it was worth it. We order corn dogs like starters and they famouse Hickory burger. Food was very nice and fresh. We will definitely come back try some more if we get the chance.
Booked a table here as an Easter treat for the kids. Table was wobbly and the chairs weren't comfy but it was a nice meal. Not cheap but good for a special occasion. Even though they were extremely busy, we didn't have to wait long. The food was tasty, hot and looked very well presented. The staff who served us were pleasant enough but take ear plugs as the music is deafening. Will definitely be going to another Hickorys, kids loved it!!
After a few recommendations, We have decided to visit Hickory on the Sunday late afternoon, no problem to get tables, but I would recommend pre book before visiting, specifically on the weekend. We had no disappointment, fulfilled our expectations, I will give 4.5* for the rib eye steak , the reason is as a steak lover there my expectations are very high . The See-bass + dessert bang on 5*. The atmosphere, service and treatment 5*. Worth to visit there will be no disappointment. Thanks Hickory, We will be back sometime!
Went during a flying ant storm but the staff were amazing even though i didnt get my free popcorn and due to the windows and roof being closed during glorious weather things were a little hot it was all done to protect us from the ants and the poor staff looked hotter than us...the food was amazing as normal we absolutely love the food here would highly recommend the staff are great and work very hard
We booked a table for 5 families 16 people on an evening for the following morning. We were served in a very spacious conservatory, well decorated and warm. Good service, they were patient taking and retaking our order you know how in a large companies there are always people changing their mind etc. We ordered 3 meat platters to share for 4 people per each can easily be for 5, and individual dishes for some. I had a rack of ribs, and believe my meat was tastier, softer. It was served on a wood board, and I had bourbon on ice Old fashioned coctail, smoke and orange peel. Enjoyed it a lot, as I like when I don't waste food. But it might be a bit small for someone hungrier. Shared platters, on the other hand, were very generous, but the meet was a bit dry to my taste and I don't like their "majic dust" hmmm... Non-alcoholic coctails were excellent, full of flavour! There were many people inside, but the place wasn't crowded. Decorations -not too much, in style of the place. All in one, great experience, would visit again.
It was very busy. No parking spaces left. We arrived early and waited at the bar, staff were great. Served at our table on timefood order was taken promptly and arrived in good time. Starters and mains were fabulous we all had something different and all really enjoyed our food. Would of had a pudding but too full thanks to all the staff for a great experience even though it was chocker.
