Lovely wee jail tower. Not a great deal to see inside, but well laid out and staff very friendly. Admission price allows for 1 year of access to the premises.
Great find. Signs everywhere but you walk up the street not even expecting it on the right hand side walking up the hill. First part of our day out in hexham complete.
DO Not go to Gaol in the early 1700s you wouldn't like it, no re-offending afterwards you tended to be dead, A little expensive but I enjoyed the visit. Also enjoyed Visiting the Abby as well
Not really a lot to see here. The place itself is an interesting building but the exhibits are a bit low rent and there's a lot less information than you'd expect even when taking into account their clearly low budget.
A real historic building you can see and walk through. Living history Intact.

Interesting but disappointed there are no cells, its room with stories recorded. The outside building gives you a different impression.
