Picked up my car at Derry airport… super helpful staff who really looked after me. My only recommendation for future clients is don’t buy insurance from a third party - buy it direct from the hiring outlet - much cheaper and greater peace of mind

Hired a car from here for 1 day. Wayyyyy too many hidden charges. Won't be back. Update 31/08/24 Hertz still have a hold on my credit card . Spoke to card issuer , they told me Hertz hadn't taken payment yet. 14 days after I hired the car.
Really nice people and helpful: even though I forgot a credit card usually is mandatory they gave me a hand to be able to take the car. Definitely I will rent a car there again if I come back and the members of the staff are the same!
Was not told until I got there that I had to pay a huge refundable deposit. Which I got back but was told in 24hrs but was more like 4 days. Other than that all was good. Quick checking in and returning was no problem.
Great help from William, Jim and Tom at City of Derry Hertz sorting out changes to rentals when I had some family health issues locally. Thanks for the great service folks!
