Great none league football ground - nice club house plenty of beers on - good kiosk for hot and cold food and drinks too - good view from the main stand - nice covered area behind the goal too - great game on Tuesday night too with a solid programme ending in a 2-0 win for the home side
Old fashioned in parts although a new plastic pitch, pitch fencing and floodlights have been installed. Spectator facilities are adequate for the level. Parking limited. Very friendly and cheerful volunteers. I enjoyed it, it is an unlikely semi rural setting with a railway viaduct behind one end.
Re-arranged game could go ahead as it was staged here because of their 3G pitch, nice little clubhouse and big food van selling burgers and chips.nHas a big seated stand one side of the ground.
Today I went groundhopping at Hertingfordbury Park, where I saw Royston Town win 6-0 against Hertford Town in a pre-season friendly.nnThe ground itself looks fairly old fashioned, the main stand looks unique and there being a decent view from the terrace behind the goal.nnThe staff at Hertford Town were friendly and helpful, as it always is great to see non-league clubs having a dedicated group of volunteers.nnConveniently the town centre is only a 15 minute walk from the ground, and can only guess the nearest train station is at a similar distance too.nnI would definitely come to visit Hertingfordbury Park again!
Easy place to find and good people to have chats with great opportunities for young footballers to have a start in football career
