December 24th, popped in to Heron for 2L of Bob milk. When I got home noticed best before date 18th Dec. 6 days out of date. Not worth returning, as it’s a 10 mile round trip and cost the same in fuel. Not good to find milk 6 days out of date and very inconvenient.
Always a bargain to be had, great for filling the kids lunchboxes, p.s you should try the bake at home cookies if I haven't bought them all!
Lots of food bargains. Good prices. You can park in high street. I parked at Waitrose car park and walked the loop round. The market was on outside when I went. Do check use by dates as some items only had a month on. Bought quite a few bits. Will be back.
There is a lovely girl in shop - she is so cheerful and bubbly- she is a real breath of fresh air. The Daventry branch is definitely my Heron of choice
A small store with a small range of items that probably only has a limited stock. I enquired about gluten free and they only get sent occasionally items they don't have it regularly and don't know what they are being sent. Prices on the things we bought was reasonable.
I underestimated this shop in the past. Bargain prices for food offered. Not big choice or variety, but it is discount shop so no complaints about that. Always worth popping in if you are nearby.
Cool little store with awesome deals
Only one member of staff was correctly wearing a face covering out of the seven I saw. Prices are cheaper elsewhere, so be aware of that, since heron has a reputation for being cheap- doesn't quite live up to expectations! Very poor quality of customer service.
