Lovely shoreline café serving traditional British style food with excellent friendly atmosphere and service. Generous portions at very decent prices cooked to order from a very reasonable menu. Nothing was too much trouble. Card payment available plenty of space. Was fairly busy when we visited on a Sunday lunchtime but everyone was served promptly and very pleasantly. Dog friendly too which is always a good sign! Excellent discovery. Will be back.
Now called The Arnside Bore, just changed hands. Great food, really friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Menu has food for everyone, with kids meals available too. View out the large window is beautiful, a lovely place to stop for food or a drink.
Great place! Friendly staff, the food was delicious. Fantastic views and a fresh, cosy feel inside.
We had breakfast here two days in a row, lovely little cafe and the ladies there were always cheerful and welcoming
Always great service, The full English breakfast is a must with good coffee, The Heron is a strong favourite of mine because its all fresh made right under your nose.

Staff are amazing. Service is fast, we had a group of 18. Food is decent.
