Great venue for a small event. Beautiful mill with a garden, the Wootton hall is ideal, tables, chairs, toilets and a kitchen. Very easy to book and cheap to hire.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Dont miss a chance to visit this windmill which is a hidden gem of Herne. Take a guided tour from one of the enthusiastic and personally invested volunteers, some of whom have known the mill since their infancy, and buy a gift from the very inexpensive souvenirs on offer. Some of the best experiences cost so little but give you so much pleasure and this is definitely one of those.
Another nice windmill inside and outside, found it open on sunday until 5 pm . 2£ for adults, Nice story .. everyone who like it , worth it to visit
Lovley place.Amazing People tell a lots about history mill . Thanks do much.
Very Nice Place to Visit for Photographs, would recommend a visit if passing by.
If you are good at climbing narrow stairs, love history, good views and supporting a local landmark then this is the place for you. Although no carpark there is ample parking in nearby streets. The people who give up their free time literally as they are volunteers do a fine job of making the tour and attraction justice. The grounds are not huge, but beautiful non the less. There is the option to join as a member for an incredibly reasonable price. An absolute gem.
How can this beautiful place with museum at its base not have any reviews. Can be seen from miles around as is a simple for those around that they are home again. Well worth a visit and is the base of operations for Herne and Broomfield Parish Council.

Gutted this was closed when we got there but certainly looked good from the outside.
Well preserved example of our heritage. Pity the windmill itself was not open but it was nice to sit down on a bench after the climb up the hill to where it is.
