Clean n tidy station. Good service. Staff help u with smile. Big parking out of station. Good signs for navigating. Ticket office was still open that time which is good thing.
Upon arriving, I was glad to see it had open toilets. And even better, next to the ticket office had a book corner free books to take or exchange, which I thought I'd do after my day trip to Herne Bay.nnUnfortunately, upon retuning, the ticket office was closed, alongside the book corner which is located within it. Even worse, the toilets were also closed. I could understand about the ticket office as its not essential, but keeping the toilets closed too? Doesn't make sense as there are no available toilets nearby apart from the Heron Pub.
Pie mash shop has now closed on sea front , I’m told there is another round the corner from The Cube hair salon .nnParking on sea front is reasonable price you can put 20ps in machine to get 20min 30min etc.nnTrain station is walking distance in straight line to beach / pier you also have Aldi to grab snacks for beach
Has changing facilities in disabled toilets that are locked. More than enough room in women's loos to have a changing station.nnRidiculous. I guess ill just buy myself a key from ebay so i can change my daughter at the bloody train station
The large lady in the ticketing booth was very rude and very unhelpful. Very bad service.
