Got the guitar Pics, 2 for £1.45, good staff and service.
Excellent service! My flute was dispatched the day after I ordered and arrived a morning after that. Excellent quality instrument. Thank you very much!
I am delighted with the quality of the Jupiter clarinet ordered online from Heritage Music . It was great to be able to order from the store and to speak to staff directly when I had a question about delivery . I’ll definitely buy from Heritage Music in the future .
Ordered a music book and after 12 days with no sign of it, I followed up with an email. 3 Days after the email was ignored, I decided to call and ask what was going on. They told me, 14 days after I ordered, they still had NOT posted the item......!!!!! Will never use again, use Amazon or other better known music shops. Await refund. SHOCKING customer services
Disappointed, called to buy a piano from them but put the price up £200! Update: Wed, 12 Aug 2020 Seller has honour the price that shown online originally and has apologised for the miscommunication so I've now raised the review from 1 star to 4 stars. Prompt well informed delivery and daughter happy with the item. Reply to the owner of Heritage Music: Thu, 6 Aug 2020, 23:42 Would love to hear how you can explain you have enough time to put the price up online but hasn't got a couple of minutes to call me back to confirm the order but instead you decided to put the price up by more than £200 from £1350 to £1595, very greedy when I was trying to place my order? That's very dishonest and disgraceful. You've made my little girl cried the whole day and very upset after she knows she is not having it because of you and your company.
I had a recently acquired Flamenco guitar made in 1950, a gorgeous Guermantes, very rare and made with woods that you cannot even find anymore as they are protected species, that had a significantly high action: 7 mm! Christoph the resident luthier at Heritage Music in Banbury did a fantastic job in lowering it to an acceptable level, 3.2 mm. It was a complex job, that necessitated, apart from filing the nut and the saddle to a really low degree, and they are all made of bone 1950, folks! No plastic used those days, also to cut the bridge horizontally, a precise job that had to be carried out to the fraction of a millimetre. And he charged a very reasonable sum for that. And after I got it back, I asked if he could file the nut and the saddle that little bit more, which he proceeded to do at no extra charge. Then I brought him an electric oud, that had the same problem of a high action, and Christoph sorted that out too, and this time it was pretty cheap. The oud is now playable like butter and I just love it. The man is really knowledgeable, and he clearly loves his job. If you have a stringed instrument and you need a job done on it, any job, go to Christoph at Heritage Music. I used to be a customer of Mike Cameron in Camden Town, London, who is a giant and a master of his craft and employed by many famous professional musicians, but after moving to Banbury I needed a local luthier and I have been blessed to have found someone who is Mike Cameron’s equal, the only difference the age, as Mike is a young-looking 75 and Christoph is late 20s or so. But the expertise he has it just astounding. As I have a wide collection of stringed instruments of the exotic variety, like sitar, ouds, a rare archtop guitar made in 1952, etc., I will certainly ask for his services over and over again. And so should you, because you won’t be disappointed. Thanks a lot, Christoph! Giorgio Curcetti, Banbury
