Incredible kindness shown by all staff here. Professional service - diagnosis and care for my wife with diagnosis of gallstones and liver complications... and we were only actually here on holiday. Thank you SO much for everything you've done for us.

Two recent attendances in A&E .... 12 hours and 14 hours waits. And I was there with chest pain! Communication non existent. After several hours a health care health care assistant came up to me with a triple loading dose of clopidogrel anti platelet ... at this point I had not even been seen by  doctor!!nDuring my stay on the ward, both before and after trip to Worcester for insertion of stnt, NO-ONE had talked to me about what had happened, what they had done, what the prognosis and future treatment are. I have pieced together some of this from looking at reports and googling.nTHIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH!! This is my life .... I need to know what is going on!

Reception staff were friendly and efficient. ENT waiting room  chairs were all ingrained with dirt in the plastic texture. I remained standing for the wait before being seen, over an hour. The waiting room walls were covered in an array of unnecessary bits of paper--sunflower cut-outs with public reviews; ironically, a notice saying they had an award for cleanliness; old nursing magazine covers. These items will all gather dust and bacteria and made it feel like a nursery school entrance. Hospitals should give off an air of efficiency, professionalism and clinical cleanliness. With Covid still with us and ENT patients particularly vulnerable I would suggest they get all the seating SCRUBBED clean and that the chairs should be wiped with antibacterial cleanser every day. The papers on the wall should be removed, except for essential notices, and if they feel it necessary to have a picture up, they use a local artist's framed painting/print. Maybe get some local artists/past patients to provide a work of art, that could be sold to raise funds for the hospital.

Had to go to A+E for what turned out to be a kidney stone . I was impressed with the staff who were friendly and professional.  There were a few rude , impatient punters who should try and remember there are other people too and it's not all about you . We've moved to the area from Birmingham just over a year and while we had more hospitals there wasn't any better . Thanks guys, hope to never see you again .

I rang today for more information re an appointment made today which I had misunderstood. Mistaking Oncology for hematology and panicking accordingly. The appointment representative took time to search the data base and ring the dept to sort it out. She was so kind. An exemplary employee. Thank you
