My kid went there for 3 nights 2 days for a school trip and she loved it she even said”the staff and amazing and the activities even the food!”.
Lovely activity centre and very helpful and friendly staff! The giant swing and zip wire was fun. Loved the horses outside the farm near the reservoir. Beautiful place.
Herd Farm is just AMAZING in every way possible. There is nothing negative possible to say. Wonderful location, amazing staff, fabulous activities, incredible facilities. Simply put- find a way to go explore.
I had the opportunity to go on my Daughters school trip to Herd Farm for the Stone age experience, Loved it! Tina & Ian were great and the whole place is very beautiful!

We had our away day at Herd Farm this week and I cannot say enough good things about them! From the highly responsive admin team who ensured the initial organisation of the day ran smoothly to the activity workers on the day who made it their mission for everyone to feel comfortable and have fun, everyone was a joy to deal with. Tony the Centre Manager ensured that all the different individual needs of our group of 50 women were met fully. The day was a massive success, everyone enjoyed themselves enormously and threw themselves into all the activities thanks to the encouragement from Herd Farm staff. I'd highly recommend Herd Farm for an away day event, the venue is beautiful, even in the rain! The staff are fabulous, there's a huge variety of activities to suit all needs from the adventurous to the more relaxed. And the breakfast rolls were delicious! We're looking forward to going back. Thanks Tony & Team for making it such a special day.
Ideally situated close to Leeds but out in the countryside, with easy access to the scenic reservoir. The facilities are modern and clean and the staff are extremely passionate about what they do. I didn't see a single team member without a smile on their face all day.
Went to Herd Farm with my work employees on a staff training day. We did lots of physical activities outside and had a buffet meal in the afternoon which wasn't great but edible. The scenery was beautiful and to have such an open space to have fun was great.
Supplies beware!!! Herd Farm Activity Centre are extremely bad at paying their invoices. I would advise you don't offer them a credit account.
