Fabulous. We went following a recommendation from a friend. Really nice atmosphere in there with owner Mikey very welcoming and friendly. Menu was great, service excellent, food was delicious and well presented. We had the hummus and garlic bread to start, followed by the Buddha Bowl and warm Vegetarian Salad as mains; all were really good. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back.
Absolutely superb - top quality food - delicious and great portions - excellent service - wide selection of dishes to suit all tastes - great value. We tried to eat here a couple of years ago but it was fully booked out, so this time we visited Exeter we booked, and we were glad we did because this place is rightly packed out with happy customers. A handful of dishes are vegetarian, not vegan, but the vegan dishes are clearly marked, and there's lots of choice. Everything was absolutely delicious, but the mushroom sauce with the nut roast deserves a special mention - wow! Can't wait to go back to Exeter just to eat here again! Update - managed to visit again, and the Buddha Bowl is excellent too!
Such a lovely veggie restaurant. Really chilled atmosphere and amazing food. Big portions of healthy fresh and tasty dishes. Everything was good. If this was near us it would be our new regular * we had Starters. Hummus and garlic bread White bean and pistachio pate Main. Lasagne with the salads of the day Warm vegetable salad Vegetarian options: Everything is veggie, lots and lots of vegan options too.

Food is really delicious and wonderfully hot. Care and passion has been given to the cooking and it shows. Real thought has been taken with the menu choices. Wonderful fresh flavours. The olives are absolutely amazing Filling and good sized portions. Friendly lovely staff very helpful. Relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back again and again.
A truly lovely restaurant, the nicest meal I’ve had for a long time. All of the dishes on the menu sounded so nice that it was difficult to choose, but in the end I went for the open top Greek pie which was lovely. My partner had one of the burgers and he enjoyed that too. I liked the relaxed, informal atmosphere of Herbies and the friendly service. I don’t live at all local to Exeter but when I’m in the area again, I’ll be sure to be back. Kid-friendliness: They’re happy to make a half-portion of any dish on the menu for children which is great. There isn’t a children’s menu, but I prefer that they can adapt all of their lovely menu as there’s more choice for children that way. Wheelchair accessibility: Be minded that the toilets are down a flight of stairs.

Absolutely in love with the food here. When i visit next to Exeter, this would be my go to place. I ordered the warm Salad from mains and fruit crumble desert served with custard! Most of the items on the menu are vegan. Good quantity, delicious food, cozy environment & friendly staff. A big recommendation for all food loversFood: 5/5
