Got a pasty from here only to realise after the first bite that the whole inside was covered in furry green mould. Never coming here again. I could've died

My mother used to bring me here when I was a young boy, in the 80's. I will never forget the warm croissants with cream and chocolate. Thanks for the memories.

Great selection of pastries and pasties and lunch offerings! Also the rhubarb and strawberry cake is a must try!

The best bread in Bristol so far, but it would be nice if their opening hours were clearer Also it looks like on Saturdays they don't bake more bread but they just sell what they've had left from Friday which is a bit disappointing

A local institution — started as a family bakery decades ago, since sold, but still great value bread, pastries, and cakes. Cheap hot sandwiches like bacon in a freshly baked roll. I love the frozen raw croissants to take home, stash in the freezer, and bake yourself that come out perfectly. The prices are great already, but for people on a really tight budget extra baked deliciousness gets sold at the end of the day even cheaper.

I've been coming her since I was a small child! My mum always treated me walking back home from the doctor's surgery. A lovely local small business that's been selling fantastic homemade sweet treats and savory food for years. I highly recommend them, we need to support our small local businesses!

Amazing selection of all things bakery including sandwiches at very reasonable prices. A loaf here will cost fractionally more than your loaf of Hovis in a supermarket and be infinitely better in taste and quality.

Local bakery with a selection of sweet and savoury pastries. Small selection of bread with specialty and organic options available. I get the impression that some items aren't made in house, but instead are bought in frozen and baked off in store.

Excellent local bakery with a wide selection of breads, pastries, cakes and much more produced onsite. Local ice-cream, hot drinks and food essentials also stocked. Friendly staff and later opening hours all add up to make this place a good option for locals and visitors alike.
