The wonderful team at Eames have been looking after a number of cars of mine for several years. One past car was far from the most pristine-looking vehicle on the road, but they still treated the car with a great deal of care and attention. Other cars have needed everything from small run-of-the-mill jobs to bigger and more costly work, and at all times the team do everything with honestly and fairness, answering questions and walking me through processes and jobs where necessary. Not once have I been overcharged for anything, not once have I been left disappointed. The whole team are passionate and friendly, a truly stellar crew. I quite literally don't take my car anywhere else, nor would I want to!
Bought my car in having noticed a fluid leak on the driveway. Was asked to pop back in an hour later when a lift was free. Promptly lifted, and the fault diagnosed. The issue was a faulty fuel filter installed on a previous full service also deserving of five stars. A replacement was ordered, delivered and fitted, as I sat in the comfortable waiting area. No charge, as the manufacturer of the filter was at fault and Eames would take up the issue with them. Excellent, honest service. With my lack of knowledge, Eames could have told me anything and charged for the repair. They’re just not that sort of garage.
If I could rate zero I would. Incredibly rude staff. My car failed a mot test with these amateurs, they tried to spin me a yarn saying I would need expensive works. None of what they said say right with me took it to two more garages to be evaluated lord and behold my car was absolutely fine and it should never of failed in the first place. AVOID
Called to inquire about a dodgy wing mirror and Eames managed to squeeze us in and take a look just 2 hours later. Excellent service.
The main dealer said my brake light fails would cost £400 to repair… Eames managed to fix it for flumpence, with bit of detective work. Great service and always looking to help out with reducing costs. Also searched around to find cheap but decent tyres for me.

Yesterday I collected my Ford Focus Estate having had a full service and MOT. I wish I'd discovered Eames Motor Repairs years ago !!. Excellent communication about times to drop car off and when they'd let me know about collection. Interim phone call to confirm the need of a new tyre. Everything covered and detailed on the invoice. Extremely good total cost and value for money. An honest and transparent Garage whom I have NO hesitation whatsoever in recommending % 100 - !!!!! Thank you SO much , Chris..
I just WISH I had used these guys first! Years ago, when my daughter's car had an elusive fault, they agonised over it for ages. I should have known then, how dedicated they are. More recently, having been sent their way from another garage a place that fits things quickly I was relieved that, not only did they have the part I needed for my car to pass its MOT that quick place didn't have it, and couldn't get it for love nor money they also made time to do the job straight away. I explained I was going to have to juggle things around in order to get the car from them to the MOT place, and they said they'd drop it round AND COLLECT IT LATER which not only took a struggle off my hands, but saved me a day's pay. They chose the cheapest option for repairs but not the easiest, they really did the job properly and really did go 'above and beyond' in their service. They're reliable, they get a lot of repeat business that speaks for itself and customers are genuinely worried for their future as, sadly, the council are closing the industrial estate they're on, for redevelopment. That's right, they're looking for new premises. Please please HELP! Honest, reliable little businesses like this are as rare as rocking horse sh!t so, if you can help spread the word for this great team, DO.
