Henstent Park, an idyllic location near the pretty village of Llangynog, midway between Welshpool, Oswestry and Bala, on the edge of Snowdonia National Park.

We welcome guests seeking a peaceful, relaxing holiday in a beautiful rural setting. Walkers, birdwatchers and nature-lovers will enjoy the stunning landscape with wonderful views at every turn and abundant wildlife. There are numerous walks from the park for all ages and abilities.

Nearby attractions include Lake Vyrnwy, Lake Bala and Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall. The narrow guage steam trains of Welshpool, Llanfair Caereinion and Blaenau Ffestiniog. The seaside towns of Barmouth, Fairbourne, Aberystwyth and Llandudno are about an hours drive.

Me and my partner stayed for two nights and loved it , the manager was so lovely and had knowledge and information about the surrounding places! He gave advice on what routes to go hiking and told us about the waterfall to go visit which we did : The facilities are probably the most cleanest facilities I've come across on a campsite! The showers even had a radiator on so it's nice when you get out. All round well kept campsite in a beautiful location!

My partner and I ended up camping a night at Henstent Park after bikepacking. The managers were so friendly and did everything they could to squeeze us in last minute and even went to the effot of helping us get to the park by picking us up from down the road! It is such a beautiful setting - a real hidden gem set within a stunning valley.nnThe tent pitches are right next to the river and offer peace and tranquaility and a great nights sleep. The showers and toilet are some of the best I've ever seen at a campsite.nnIt was our first time here, but it certainly won't be the last - we are planning on returning with family soon. Massive thanks to Roy and Caroline for making us feel so welcome. We can't wait to return!
Quiet, peaceful camping dell beside the Tanat river. Very clean toilets/showers.nBeautiful location, deep in a valley hence no mobile signal. Wi-fi available.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Beautiful setting right by a river for camping, loads of room and quiet at night with just the sound of the river flowing. Staff are welcoming and really helpful, very accommodating for us and made our holiday special! Will definitely be returning.
