Henry's has been a favourite of mine for a few years. The food they serve is delicious and at good value. Their staff are polite and respectful to customers. Food is given a short duration after ordering. Orders can be made by phone to be picked up or in person. You can sit inside the building to eat the food if you wish. It's just a shame that they didn't keep the delivery option they had during Covid, as that made it very convenient to get their food. Oh well, I need the exercise. Overall, it is a lovely place to eat. I recommend Henry's. Parking: There is some space across the market road to park, but this is often taken throughout the day, especially when everyone is wanting food from here.
Once again the fish and chips were amazing from this fish and chip shop. The staff are also very friendly and efficient. Thank you so much. I did not really want to leave a review because it will make you busier and queues will possibly be longer, but you are such a good shop I had to thank you.
Went tonight for the first time. Cod and chips and haddock and chips + mushy peas. Really lovely meal, crispy batter, beautiful fresh succulent fish, the chips were perfect, crispy and fluffy. Only complaint would be the 15 minute wait for my Haddock had I been told I’d have gone for the cod as I was starving , but not going to mark it down for that…
Good bunch in there, always happy to see you. Not badly priced either considering how everything is costing so much these days. Mostly go on a Saturday about 6ish, but have fetched fish & chips in the week too. Not had any of the pizzas or wraps, but the seem popular too. It's been years since I sat down in the little restaurant bit, but there are people sat having their meal in there now and again when I go. Vegetarian options: I'm sure I've seen that they do veggie options Kid-friendliness: I've seen kids sitting in eating, and coming in to order their food Parking: Got both sides of the road down the main street in Long Sutton to park down Wheelchair accessibility: Should be able to get in the doors in a wheelchair, there are 2 doors that can both be opened, and I'm sure that a member of staff would come and help if you had any trouble trying to get in or out Dietary restrictions: I know they do gluten free batter as my cousin has it when ever she has fish and chips
I would like to review the food that is on offer here but once again I arrive 30 minutes before the stated closing time on Saturday night and find the place closed and the staff have done a disappearance act so great that the Magic Circle would be proud of. If you want to go on the pop on a Saturday night would you be so kind to alter your closing time to perhaps 5pm therefore allowing enough time for you to prepare yourself and your customers to go elsewhere!!:
Went here tonight as the 3 chip shops in Holbeach were closed. Had cod and chips. Chips were good but cod was very poor, there was more batter than fish and what fish there was was dry and chewy. Won't be returning.
Decided to give this place a try as I’ve always seen it really busy. Was immediately greeted from the second I walked in , Asked to view the menu before placing my order. Literally 30 seconds went by and I went to place my order but was told by staff they were busy doing someone else’s order. Came across as rude just because I immediately didn’t know what to order. After waiting there other people were then being seen to before me. I instantly left. If you can’t handle being busy and expecting people to just know what they want as they arrive the job isn’t for you. Typical miserable old people round here Won’t be going back here again!
Have really enjoyed Henry's in the past. The portions are adequate but I'm now finding the fish batter soggy and too greasy on a regular occurance. Unfortunately it's now time to travel a little further.
Lovely friendly shop. I've been going there since I was a little girl. Lovely food and recommend highly.
Henry's has been in the past very good but our 2 last orders in the last 3months have been very disappointing the size of the fish portion is exceptionally small & tonight's portion was dried up & tiny not acceptable and to be honest would rather travel further to have a better option , won't return just cause its local .
