My favourite restaurant. An absolute showstopper for dinner with delicious, seasonal, local, plant based but not vegetarian homemade food put together with passion and skill by resident chef Henrietta. There’s an intimate vibe with friendly staff. It all adds up to something really quite special. Also great for an indulgent weekend brunch or lunch, with the ever changing menu including lots of homemade breads, pancakes, quiches and cakes. There’s also a whole menu dedicated to porridge. Henrietta’s residency ends in October 2019 so go and sample this wonderful food and atmosphere while you can.
Great spot for lunch. The staff very super friendly and the food was delicious. Also a great selection of deserts.
Had been on my to-go list for a little while and when I finally made it I was not disappointed. Lovely crew in the kitchen and front of house. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. It's a wonderful neighbourhood restaurant and I hope it gets thr custom it needs to survive. Hackney across the river has more than it's fair share of perfect neighbourhood joints and hopefully we get more like HI at Yardarm.
This is a lovely place but it is SO ridiculously expensive for what it is. I appreciate the focus on local ingredients and it’s a small business etc but it there is just no value for money here at all. Getting 2 cakes and coffees and barely getting change from £20 stings!
Great food and lovely space. Staff are all super friendly and dishes are fresh, light and tasty. Personally have no problem with the pricing considering the quality of what was on offer.
Incredible cakes and great service. It is expensive but totally worth it in my view. You can get cheap cake elsewhere, this is a place for a real treat.
Food is really good but very pricey- especially the cakes. Upmarket flapjack £3.50. Piece of tart £4.20. Ouch!
Lovely dinner, amazing chicken pie and marmalade cake, warm and friendly service. Henrietta is not just for deserts!
Way way too expensive. This is Leyton. Not Knightsbridge. Shame as the food is decent but £3.80 for a mince pie? Wow.
Really amazing and inventive food, with good ingredients in a lovely environment. Memorable dinner.
