Lovely little zoo, perfect for younger kids as doesn't take long to walk round. It is lovely seeing this develop and expand each time we visit. Baby change could do with being improved and over time would be lovely to see a little kiddies play area for them to burn off some steam while the grown ups have a little pit stop. Overall highly recommend a visit.
Had great couple of hours at the Conservation Centre with the kids enjoying a 'bug experience'. After we'd enjoyed some food at their cafe Katie, the keeper leading the experience, was really kind and very knowledgeable. Initial nerves were overcome and a great time was had. We were lucky enough to observe a Meerkat experience which was hilarious. Overall, a good experience at a sensible price point and the kids have memories that they'll cherish. Well done
It’s a lovely small conservation full of cute little animals and descriptions for little children to know more about the species. Too bad it rained and most animals weren’t active, apart from the lemur and otters. We enjoyed watching them. This is only 30mins drive away from us, we will definitely visit again. We called before arrival for restaurant and parking info, the staff who answered was very polite. Free parking at entrance, little restaurant with kids dishes.
Lovely small organic zoo. Visited this place with my kids and they loved it. Spacious car park for a number of cars, lovely cafe with lovely staff. The zoo keeper were lovely and knowledge, loads to see with the kids. I liked the fact that the zoo felt organic, less iron bars and more wooden picket fences.
Lovely centre. It's small but is well designed. We were there for about 2 hours, including getting coffee. Biscoff latte at the cafe is really good!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Found this hidden gem, checked it out and love it. Yes ok it's not the biggest park, but it's perfect for the kids that can't handle a full day out, plenty of animals here to wow the kids, and us adults too. Every staff member is friendly, informative and hard working with constant grounds maintenance being done. My only criticism would be a few trips hazzards. Will still come visit again!
Great place, especially for my 4 year old. Could watch the otters all day. Café has a great selection too. Only down side is the amount of stuff under construction/being improved. Been a few times and it changes constantly. Will revisit for sure.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes

A small delight We were there to Prepare Food and Feed Otters.Ben the staff member gave us an insight into dealing with Wild Animals Diet and Welfare. There is a surprising variety of Animals from around the World a must for any Animal Lover. Caveat: this is not a Zoo, it is a small site but crammed with a Joyous selection of well looked after healthy Creatures.
Very nice Zoo. Lots of plants. Small, cute animals, but not many. The maned wolves were something new to me. Cosy coffee and souvenir shop. It's a very nice place to take the kids on a weekend.
