Lovely space where you feel like walking in a beautiful tale.nSmall and cosy old shops to spend one morning and walk around the old town.
Wonderfully quirky with the type of antique shops that have sadly disappeared from 99% of high streets, free-trading coffee shops and the odd pub. Well worth a visit if you have some time.
Wonderful afternoon enjoying good company in convivial surroundings at historic St Mary's Church for the first of hopefully many more Hemel Old Town beer and cider festivals.nThank you Canon John and the local CAMRA Region along with support from the regular traders at the old town farmers market. Throughout, musical accompaniment was provided by local singing and organ playing artistes.
The Old High Street in Hemel Hempstead is mostly coffee shops and restaurants a small number of antique cum junk shops and not much else. This very short road can be driven down via the one way system in about 90 seconds. Historic certainly, inspiring no.
