Everyone is friendly. The course is great both for beginners and experienced golfers. Beautiful views over the river Clyde, and partly Loch lomond.
I try to visit friends in Helensburgh once a year for a few days. I transport my clubs all the way from Bristol just to play Helensburgh. This time of year the greens are in fantastic shape and with the recent rains the fairways were pristine. I’ll be coming back next year for sure.
Played in the Seniors open today. Course is in great condition, greens are really fast. Warm welcome when we arrived to register and in the pro shop from Frazer Hall.
Lovely Moorland course, with great views all around but the real beauty is the Course. Testing, yet rewarding if you stay in or near the fairway. Beware the sloping fairways. There's a great mix of long and short 4's, the 12th is especially pleasing... the green hidden from your second shot unless you place your tee shot well right and long enough to see they the gap but not too long or too right! You know what, just go and play it. The pro is friendly and helpful and if your home club is James Braid affiliated then you get a great discount, but it is worth the full price.
Nice golf course, great views, staff at the clubhouse is very friendly, Tracy is a great conversationalist, Sandra knows how to feed the customers, A must visit place !!
Probably one of the best course's I have played footgolf on,very long. Great course with some very hilly fairways. Local members of the club we great and helpful. Good bit of lunch in between rounds thanks to the great kitchen and bar staff. A great and very enjoyable day out and again thank you to all the staff and members for having us.
Just got to play this course on a trip of a lifetime to Scotland. We were staying in Inveraray and this course came up as one of the top courses in the area. Boy did it not disappoint. Showed up a little early do to time constraints in the trip. We got to meet a couple of the members and they were all so nice to us. We had to rent clubs and they were all from decent sets. The course was in fantastic shape and my father and I had a blast playing the course. The views could not be beaten because the course sits overlooking the town of Helensburgh and two local lochs. Thank you for allowing us to play your course.
