A real hidden gem. Cosy, great food and excellent service. Going back again!
One of the best restaurants on the Island. From beginning to end, our evening at Heima was a dinning experience to be remembered. From the moment we walked through the door, the perfect tone was set, in a beautiful modern restaurant. The food was a feast for the eyes and the palette. The wine was competitively priced with other establishments, but tasted exceptionally better. And, the Service matched the quality of the food and drink; our waiter was friendly, chatty, and professional, while the chef explained many of the dishes at the table. Clearly they are very proud of what they have created. Three courses for £29 is exceptional value for the quality of food and service, and well worth visiting time and time again. I would recommend dishes to try, but frankly everything we tasted was delicious.
Service excellent and not rushed. The food is beautifully presented and tastes fantastic. If you appreciate excellent cooking you really must visit Heima. First Class. We will definitely be dining here more often.
Heima is tastefully decorated to give a light and neutral feel. Quality food is modern and beautifully presented, with a subtle and delicious combination of flavours. The chef is talented and enthusiastic and this definitely a place to visit when eating out on the Island. We will be back!
We had a fantastic meal here trying the tasting menu on Valentines day. Every dish was interesting and flavoursome and I tried some foods that were new to me and really enjoyed them. The tasting menu also came with little extras not originally noted on the menu which definitely were added value for menu. The presentation of the the food is artistic and exciting but its definitely the combinations of the flavours that shine through and are most memorable. Although a 'cheffy' level of technique is obvious it is certainly not style over substance.
We had a brilliant time at this restaurant. We chose the tasting menu and were not disappointed. The food was brilliant and easily on a par with any high end Michelin star restaurants we've visited before. We took out 10 year old daughter and she loved as well. The 7 course taster menu was outstanding and many of the ingredients had been locally foraged that day. Max the chef served many of the dishes and talked us though everything which was great and made the food even more interesting. Before booking we hadn't realised that Max was originally from Noma restaurant in Copenhagen google it! which we had tried to visit some years before but it was out of season ... so Heima was a great and surprising find for us. We took around 4 hours to complete the meal, which is perfect & what you need if you want the full tasting experience. To top it off, the price per head was way less than we expected. Around what you could expect to pay in a mid-high end restaurant in our home town of Manchester. Heima is way better on quality and experience. I would be amazed if this place did not get a Michelin star at somepoint over the next few years. It was certainly one of the best dining experiences we've had and we would not hesitate to recommend. Thanks to Max & team, we would visit every day if we could!
I've been to the Wax Works Restaurant with my family for lunch and for dinner, thoroughly enjoying both menus. This contemporary café bar retains some of its old character, providing a warm friendly ambiance. The waitresses were cheerful and attentive serving delicious, well presented food. Love the sweet menu!!! No hesitation in recommending this new upcoming restaurant.
This. Is single handedly the best restaurant I have ever been to. The chef had a vision and a talent far surpassing anything I have seen. This is not his job, he lives this. Amazing food, cooked in interesting and fantastic ways, friendly atmosphere and a very passionate chef. This will be a Michelin star, I would bet on it.
Lovely, a little confused with its approach to high end food, where the quality of cooking has to be absolutely top notch, but overall a great addition to the local food scene. Excellent service, and very reasonably priced. Like the real attempt to do local and foraged food.
Stumbled across Heima in Brading by chance. What a find. Wanted to keep it secret but felt I needed to shout about it. Tried a selection of dishes from their taster menu....Wow..bloody awesome. Made to feel welcome as soon as we stepped inside. .. even got our dishes explained by the chef which was a lovely touch and Tom just made it all more enjoyable ...Thank you.
