Nice park with a great deal of open spaces. Quite snowy when visited as was in January. A nice place to walk and relax. I would highly recommend a visit if In the area
Was a lovely time the park wasn't busy. Went around the track using used for people running but we decided to take our scooters and have a ride around the circuit the added plaques are a great addition inspires the children to read and learn about nature. I wish they tidied up the park as bark is sprea everywhere and so is the sand think this needs looking into.
It's clean, and has some equipment you can use to workout if you are there for some exercise, there's mark around the field for a run toomnn...and there's a playground for kids.
Great walks, keep fit equipment, skate park, play area, big open space, woodland walk, tennis, football, lots of parking, cafe, toilets, brilliant.
Lovely open span of field with a good park for the children and all the amenities close at hand. Nice cafe to but very slow on service even just for drinks on function days.
