Having just found myself with a young hedgehog last night, I called Hedgehog Bottom this morning and spoke to a very helpful lady who told me what and what not to do. Now I have hope of giving this delightful creature a chance of survival. Thank you so much for your help!

So just rang this lady I'm in reading so it's like 11 miles away so it's 3am I said I think it's not well don't move much breathing is fast and that she hasn't moved for a hour !!!! What can I do? She said you know how far it is to reading right? Hahaa I said shouldn't be a problem as it's an animal there's not problem she said that the distance was a problem. Then said just leave it over night bring it to me tomorrow MAYBE then went on and said that she has TO MANY ANIMALS TO ADD ANOTHER ONE TO THE PACK !!! Fair enough so tell me where to go. Ohhh no NO ONE ELSE KNOWS HOW TO LOOK AFTER THEM BUT ME!!!!!! Well if I google hedgehog centre there's a couple ?? Don't go to this rude lady please she's got no room let !!

In reference to 'Hate Liars' review. This woman phoned a number of hedgehog rescues for advice, including mine, which she then refused to take. She talked over things that were being explained and seems to think she knows better than people who deal with hundreds of hedgehogs each year. Apparently hedgehogs are reptiles and if she knows so much why was she asking for advice?. Every rescue she phoned were told they were rude, didn't know what they were talking about and she then slammed the phone down. I will not have her slagging off one of the best hedgehog rescues there is, they have a very high success rate and do some amazing work. I will be contacting the rescue in Pontefract to find out who this woman is and passing her details on so that Hedgehog Bottom can take legal advice for libel.

Amazing selfless care for the hogs who really need it, together with good advice for those who come across hedgehogs in need of help. The hogs always come first here. Super place!
