Brilliant open space with lots of areas to walk and explore. Mini dirt track tennis, basketball hoops, bowling green, play park, splash pads not currently working to name a few. Cafe is fab too
Great play park, recently updated including a great onsite cafe Inc children's party venue, I can remember from my junior years and my mum taken me and my sister's there, Great 3 different size paddling pools, but sadly today Tuesday 16 July 24 all the gates were chained and the paddling pool area was closed to the public, shame as such a lovely hot summer's day Photos of the pool are from previous visits,
Large playing area, with a lovely swimming pool for kids. There are lots of picnic tables to seat. The playground is located inside a large green park. It has several tennis grounds and basketball field to play. There is a place for skate. Lovely plave to spend time and kids with all ages would enjoy here.
Absolutely fantastic went with grandchildren so much for them to do. Good safe paddling pools for children. Also really good coffee bar
Absolutely wonderful splash park. This was our first visit and I can certainly see us spending lots of next summer there! Perfect for both my 1 and 3 year old with different depths. And as clean as you expect and outdoor pool next to grass to be.
Hub, Wonderful staff and great atmosphere, always good food and coffee ,very helpful. Wonderful unspoilt park with a great community spirit.Dog friendly ,and excellent for children.
Here for the 2km parkrun on Sunday morning. There were 144 participants but also quite a few younger ones with accompanying adults. Great place.
Wonderful playpark, with paddling pools and lots of space, play equipment and cafe and loos. Playground: Good assortment of outdoor play equipment. Picnic area: Picnic benches, or bring a picnic blanket. Loads of room.
A great park for children and families. Our children love the bike track and the skate / bike ramps as well as the play area. The cafe in the park is fantastic and has some toys for little ones, excellent food, coffee and cakes. Park life charity holds lots of fantastic events and activities in the park and at the hub. The hall at the hub is great for yoga, pilates and other group activities as well as children's parties. The community around the park is just amazing.
Both myself and my children had so much fun at the park. The little pools are much cleaner than they used to be and everyone was so happy and enjoying the sun. There is a café there now and it's a lovely touch to the park. Service was a little on the slower side and I had a black americano that was half filled but as for everything else well worth going to
