It's okay enough honestly. There's a decent number of trains stopping here throughout the day and step free access is available here on both platforms. Seating and shelter is provided however the ticket machines were broken when I was there.
Very well kept by Northern Rail Staff in partnership with the volunteers of the Friends of Heaton Chapel Station headed by Phil and the committee always making the Station a safe and friendly place to be.
Nice quite area Friendly people Lots of shops you didnt even know about Very busy Main Road Can get crowded at Venues at the Weekend and Peak Times
It's okay but it'll be better when the entrance from the southbound platform to Heaton Moor Road is reopened in the new year
Avoid Stephen in the ticket stand , no customer service skills ! Very rude man. Think maybe he needs to rethink his job role !
Retro station but very nice and modern 2
