Not the same any more all the good shops have gone only got 2 or 3 decent shops left
The only shops I use is Tescos and Iceland the rest of the Heathway is not for me. It's a dump. And Darren Rodwel and Margaret Hogg NEEDS to RESIGN. We lost our GREAT BRITISH BUTCHERS that I USED for YEARS but it's GONE. ALL but ONE bank is left until they SHUT. We are being DRIVEN OUT of the town. This is not DAGENHAM that I remember.
Boycott iceland at all costs .nTerrible online delivery servicenDagenham heatway iceland has a old phone number on Google. The new one never gets answered.. half of my delivery was brought to me. I had to collect the frozen stuff other half of delivery myself in person. After spending 3days calling the store and customer service which is based all the way in South Africa.. absolutely useless ..nnOnly positive outcome was the nice lady who assisted me when I collected my stuff in person .nnStay Way from. Iceland. Stay away from this store in particularnnShocking service
The new Iceland is a welcome addition but a few empty shops. The heathway is having an identity crisis. Its a bit grotty and in dire need of regeneration.
It was an exceptionally beautiful day today with cotton candy clouds over the Dagenham Heathway shopping centre. The day before it was raining and I'm glad I stayed indoors because that rain was torrential. Anyway in another posters pictures you see to the left of Dagenham Heathway shopping centre BetFred which is now Starbucks and to the right you'll see the Post Office which is now I believe inside Tesco Express so they have been a few changes since the last pictures were posted. Only reason I was there was because I had an appointment with Specsavers who were very professional and added to the delight of the sunny weather. In some of the images you will see Dagenham Heathway tube station opposite the shopping centre. Two reasons it didn't get five stars. Number one it's not that well lit so it loses a point for lighting and number two there's the smell of urine as you walk past certain buildings inside the complex. Now it might be the general public or it could be the residents in the housing complex that are not as a decent as other residents. Whatever it is it needs to be sanitised anyone with a nose taking a walk or their children to the shopping centre won't be too pleased.
