Terminal 2 location is great, near to other Heathrow terminals. Access roads were well detailed as we headed to the airport by taxi from Basingstoke.nnThe airport has a luggage wrapper service starting from British pounds 18 to 25 depending on luggage size. The luggage wrapper although a private service provider was not courteous to an old lady who was flying to Congo with a large cooler. We guided the service provider guy to cut the cooler handle wrapper at the place of the handle, although he was very resistant earlier.nnWish the airport has a courier or British post counter. We would have loved to use this service...nnThe check in information display is well detailed in the multiple zones. The airport has three zones A, B and C.nnAt the check in area it was sparse, but later it became crowded.nnThere is a good coffee outlet's Cafe Nero, a good help, considering that the long wait time in this area. The coffee outlet is deep inside the check in area.nnA sign that the coffee outlet is available deep inside could be helpful, as people entering the airport could be driving for more than an hour to reach!nnThe security check officials are warm and courteous. Hats off to the thorough and detailed check with high tech gadgets. This very much made me as a passenger feel secure. Though I must admit occasionally the repeated checks makes us feel intimidated!nnThe Leon fast food restaurant after security check was good. The retail outlets like Paul Smith for men's shirts was one among my favourite!
This airport terminal stands out as one of the finest, offering top-notch services. I've frequented it for drop-offs, pickups, and flights, and it's essential to remember the £5 charge for these services, payable in advance or within 24 hours of usage to avoid penalties.nnInside the terminal, you'll find a variety of shops, restaurants, and amenities. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, and the premises are impeccably maintained. Additionally, there are options for both short-term and long-term parking.
The worst customer support in my life. Indifferent people and AI generated letters : the security machine broke my purse and I reported to the airport looking to get some help/compensation.nDue to their slooooow work they lost all the footage and blame it all on me.nThe worst experience ever . I was looking for some help and support but is being only ignored.
Very short walk to passport control and baggage collection from plane then also 2 mins walk to the car park to find my ride who was waiting for me on level 2 where there is loads of parking available and very easy to find. £7.50 for 30 mins
Its a wonderful Terminal, absolutely beautiful, the employees had helped so much, I have reviewed it so late since I didn’t really bother but after reading some of these reviews i think that Heathrow had been slandered too much!nThe place is wonderful and well organised, Went there on a flight to Canada and the employees are so kind! I didn’t take any pictures of the Terminal but did a lot of plane spotting
