My mother in law is in Woodside in Heanor Park which is the deaf home. It’s beautiful. Clean, asthetics are modern and attractive. The staff are fantastic and she is very much loved and looked after. Would thoroughly recommend
Heanor Park is such a wonderful caring environment. Mum has been there for just over three years now. The facilities are amazing, but the heart and soul of the place comes from the people working there, who have gone way beyond the call of duty on occasions. Mum has been cared for with such kindness and dignity together with the day to day demanding needs of Alzheimer’s . Living abroad, my visits are limited but constant communication is maintained with the home and with mum. My sister and I are always made welcome and well informed of her well being.nnA care home is probably an experience that none of us want to face, but mum has been happy, well looked after and we are forever grateful of the assurance Heanor Park gives us, knowing that she is safe and so well cared for.
Such an amazing place! Staff are so friendly and caring! My dogs were in the car and I was asked if I wanted to take them in. The residents loved it… it certainly made a lot of people very happy this afternoon! Made me realise just how important the simple things in life don’t have to cost anything!nI only wish that everyone had access to such a beautiful home.nI would personally like to thank all staff at Heanor Park for their continued hard work and sheer dedication. You truly are inspirational
