I highly enjoyed my baby shower We did the afternoon tea... it was the most perfect environment and a fun experience to have our choice of tea and a variety of sandwiches and dessert! The setting is really nice being within nature I am definitely looking forward to coming back when the baby arrives so I can try your gorgeous cocktails from the Riverside bar The staff are really friendly and service is fantastic, thank you We couldn't have asked for a better experience
Walked down for a Sunday roast dinner and it was so good. Very busy but staff were very welcoming and helpful and apologised for any wait. Great family atmosphere sitting outside in sun. Owners have made it beautiful with outdoor seating, gorgeous flowers and pots, coloured lights and the music was ‘old time’. What a lovely afternoon. Congratulations on a such a successful tearooms !
Great service and friendly staff The music being on was a great vibe while we were sat in the sunshine having brunch, my wife went for the cheese on toast and I had poached eggs on toast! Beautiful scenery all round worth it 10/10 definitely would recommend and definitely will be back again! We also took a walk to the waterfall that's not too far away!
A twee, wartime tea room with chandeliers and bone china teacups. Great for breakfast or afternoon tea. Located in Healey Dell so some nice walks and places of interest right on the door step. Great food and excellent service.Food: 5/5
We went here for afternoon tea and it was lovely. The staff were great when one member of our group was late, not being able to find the place. I will say she followed the directions she found online and it was closed off. We went down Dell Road where Shawclough Road meets Market St if you were heading from Falinge to Whitworth. Right on the corner opposite the public toilets there is an old sign on the side of a building point down the road for the tea rooms. So we followed that and found it easily. The afternoon tea was lovely. Especially the scones! So good!! We sat inside, because it's Winter and we aren't nuts . However if you have a dog or when it gets a bit warmer the outside area looks amazing. You can sit overlooking the river and get a beer from the bar or order some lunch. We will definitely be coming back.
Amazing off the beaten track stop for good food and drinks. We usually book ahead as it can get quite busy at peak times on weekends, but if nearby as a couple we usually drop in without booking. Always happy with quality of food, recently we visited after having to cancel twice due to covid!, one of us had spinal issues and they were very accommodating getting a chair and cushions so that we could stay outside. One improvement I’d like to see is more vegan friendly options on the menu. Beyond breakfast I think it’s just beans on toast or houmous sandwich that’s possible, though I understand it’s tough as kitchens can only do so much. Staff are very friendly and always working hard, I suggest this place to any friends visiting Whitworth.
What a lovely cosy place to stay after a long or short walk at the nearby waterfalls. Lovely food and very nice staff. Definitely will be back there.
A beautiful place surrounded by amazing nature. Delicious coffee and hot chocolate with all the toppings available for children absolutely friendly and kind staff members. We were served despite the fact that there was a private venue happening. The owner is very kind and made our day. Will be coming back.
Went for afternoon tea small in side. but room out side aswell. staff good and attentive. Looket like home made scones? tasted good. had to get box for cake to take home as there was a lot which is a good thining. road down there was narrow and single track so be aware ?Food: 4/5
Had afternoon tea, staff friendly, food good, we sat inside downstairs but we kept our coats on because it was cold.
