Very nice trip this morning to Headroom Cafe in Golders Green for brunch. Staff were friendly and were given a nice table. The menu had a lot of options and decent prices. Food was good but not perfect. Shakshuka was a bit overcooked and was never asked how I like it. Salad and pasta was alright. I nice place for a quick bite and to support. Staff need a bit more training I think. Also please improve air conditioning If you liked my review feel free to give it a and follow me on Google Maps for more reviews!
Came here for the first time today for brunch and it was nice! We had shakshuka which was deliciously thick, flavourful, with perfectly cooked eggs spilling rich runny yolks as we cut into them. I've never had it with challah before and it paired so perfectly, the soft slightly sweet bread with the rich spiced sauce. Pretty stencils for the coffees but it was ok to taste. Service was pleasant and ambience was laid back and chilled, although must confess not a huge fan of Abba. I especially like the cause they represent and its nice to contribute to that. Great concept and delicious food!
Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here, fresh well cooked food and a great charity. The Shakshuka was perfectly flavoured with an excellent range of spices and depth of Middle-Eastern flavours. Mushroom soup was delicious and the sourdough bread was soft with a crunchy outside. The Salhev coconut creamy drink with pistachios is one of my personality favourites - and highly recommend. The entire restaurant has great service, lovely decoration and atmosphere, and with excellent food!
Went here for lunch but we were too late as the kitchen closes at 4pm. Instead we got milkshakes and i got a coffee. The milkshakes were decent but nothing special. The coffee waa alright as well. Pricing was quite high though. Vibe was overall nice.
One of my recent fave places to hang out, meet up with friends and go out. I love the food and the atmosphere. It is wonderful opportunity to give charity and support local cause. Having been there at different days and times all of my experiences have been positive. I recommend Headroom for dates, brunches, meetings and just anything you want.
The first time we were here in March was definitely different. The service is the same which is good but the food quality lost it's touch. We've waited so long for our next trip to London so we can experience again the wonderful mixed in the mouth flavors of their special All veggie English breakfast and it was sadly a disappointment. Instead of 8 mini smoked veggie sausages, we got two big microwaved dry ones. No country bread and instead of sweet grilled onion &mushrooms we got a sliced mushroom and beans from a can. We won't be coming back but I hope I am the only disappointed costumer and that the other meals are still great. The blue filtered pics are from March.
Lovely vibe in the restaurant, great place to go for brunch!
I love this place! The food is great and the staff are friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend.
First time here nice decor & relaxing music. However, did not receive the warm welcome I was expecting staff seemed locked in their own world no eye contact or words despite me being particularly open and courteous, wanting to make a good impression. Unfortunately, the description the cafe gives of reaching out to those in need of support fails to recognize those 'hiding in plain sight'. Food recommended was hot and reasonably priced. Will visit again on a Tuesday and see if the atmosphere has changed for the better, ironic as it is.
Reasonable vegetarian choices, in a relaxed setting. Staff are really helpful.
