An amazing care home! All the staff are friendly, caring and supportive, they really go above and beyond. The manager is very personable and helpful, regularly checking in with residents and families, continually striving to improve our experience - though Hazelwood is already in a league of its own. My dad has been there nearly two years and he absolutely loves it, and we have no complaints at all. It’s a modern, clean building with a homely atmosphere, like one big family. The en-suite bedrooms are spacious and the food is great. There are lots of on-site facilities and a variety of activities for residents each week, as well as regular events that families can attend too. The high level of person-centred care allows us to rest assured that my dad is safe, happy and well looked after. I honestly can't recommend it enough. I truly believe they have not only greatly improved his quality of life, they have extended it. We are so grateful for everyone at Hazelwood and all that they do.
I have been working at Hazelwood for the last 5 1/2 years and I love being part of a fantastic team. The number one priority at Hazelwood is the residents making sure they are cared for to a high standard. The home is well presented and has all the facilities needed to care and entertain our residents. There is a really good program of activities to keep the residents busy.nThe management team are so supportive.
I have worked at Hazelwood for the last six years 3.5 years as a carer and 2.5 years as an administrator. I enjoy being part of a team of dedicated staff and management that genuinely care about making the residents lives as happy and fulfilling as possible. The staff are caring and friendly but also knowledgeable, and professional. The home is well decorated and is always kept clean. The general atmosphere in the home is caring and welcoming and residents are happy.
I have starting working in Hazelwood at last April is going to be one year and the staff, manager and administration team helped me so much to know the place as a new comer because I was also new to this country. From bottom of my heart I really appreciate the Hazelwood team for helping and the greatest strength of this home is they are very friendly and polite. In my one year I have never seen anyone shouting or raising voice towards other. I really enjoy working here because we treat our residents as our family.
My experience at Hazelwood Nursing Home as staff has been fabulous for 11 months I have been working with the home. The staff are like a family to the residents. I remember missing the residents so much when last I was on 3 weeks leave. Excellent management team with great passion for exemplary care and activities for residents.
